Leslie Gage Scholarship

Miss Leslie Gage was a professional educator who served Winona State University and its students for 28 years. She was a member of the Education Department from 1922 until her retirement in 1950.

During her long and distinguished Winona State career, Miss Gage instructed the primary education methods course at ‘the University and served as the primary grades supervisor at Phelps School, where she also taught third-grade students.

Miss Gage passed away on July 8, 1966, in Winona.
