Gary & Marilyn Grob Baseball Scholarship

The Gary and Marilyn Grob Baseball Scholarship is created to provide scholarship funds for WSU, an integral and rewarding part of our lives, Gary and Marilyn desire to encourage and support student-athletes who participate in the WSU Baseball Program, helping defray tuition costs for student-athletes’ education, and to enhance the baseball program that is a part of the quality athletic tradition at WSU.

Criteria

1. Each recipient must be a member of WSU Baseball team.
2. Each incoming freshman recipient must have the minimum WSU required ACT score.

Biography/Motivation

The Gary and Marilyn Grob Baseball Scholarship was established in honor of the student baseball athletes at Winona State University. Coach Gary Grob exemplified the high academic and moral standards put forth by the athletes of WSU, through his coaching and contributions he made to the baseball program at WSU. Gary was a model baseball coach, achieving athletic excellence on the field and a dedicated professor at WSU.
