Lawrence A. & Rill Ann Reuter Scholarship in Chemistry

The Lawrence A. and Rill Ann Reuter Scholarship in Chemistry is established to benefit and encourage students who pursue interests in Chemistry. The Reuters goal for this scholarship is to recruit and inspire promising Chemistry students.

Criteria

1. Each recipient must be an undergraduate student enrolled full-time and in good standing at Winona State University (minimum of 12 credits per semester, Fall and Spring).
2. Recipient may be an incoming freshman or a current student.

• Incoming freshman must be ranked in the top 25% of their high school graduating class.

3. Each recipient must be a declared Chemistry major.
4. Preference will be given to students pursuing primary interests in Genetics, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Bio Engineering, Biochemistry, Medicinal Chemistry or Pharmacology.
5. Recipients must show great promise in the field of Chemistry.

Biography/Motivation

The Reuters state, Both of us have greatly benefited from the generosity of others by receiving scholarship funds for our education. The present scholarship is intended to continue our payback obligation to help others with their education. We will be most happy to (eventually) discover that those who receive funds from our scholarship have also decided to continue the culture of helping others achieve their career goals.
