James W. & Ann Eljenholm Nichols Scholarship

The James W. and Ann Eljenholm Nichols Scholarship is created to give assistance to promising students who have declared English as their major.

Criteria

1. Each recipient must have declared English as their major.
2. Each recipient must demonstrate financial need through WSU’s Financial Aid Office.
3. Each recipient must be an undergraduate student enrolled full-time (i.e. minimum of twelve credits per semester) at WSU
4. Each recipient must be a promising student as determined by the WSU English Department Scholarship Committee. (“Promising” is not to be judged solely on the basis of grade point average, but to reflect also the opinions of teachers who have worked with the recipients.)
