Fastenal Professional Selling Scholarship

Fastenal Professional Selling Scholarship

The Fastenal story began in 1967 when Bob Kierlin pooled together $30,000 with four friends and opened the first Fastenal store, a 1,000 sq. ft. shop in his hometown of Winona, MN. Growth Through Customer Service is the motto that has guided the company’s growth and success.

The Fastenal National Accounts COB Professional Selling Scholarship encourages and supports students at Winona State University who are enrolled in the Professional Selling Minor program. The scholarship is part of the Fastenal and College of Business Center for Sales Excellence partnership/sponsorship program which strives to continually advance the sales profession through teaching, research and outreach. Partners help shape the curriculum, have access to research on best practices and can identify the best students early in their educational journey and recruit from this uniquely qualified pool, resulting in reduced recruiting and training costs and lowering turnover in their organizations.
