Tammy Kempf Scholarship

Tammy Kempf was a student at Winona State University from 1987 to 1990 when injuries from an automobile accident claimed her life on June 21, 1990. Tammy, from rural Goodhue, Minnesota, was the daughter of Ernest and Patricia Kempf. Tammy had just completed her junior year in the nursing program at WSU with a 3.8 grade point average. She was considered an outstanding student who was well liked and respected by her fellow students and the nursing faculty. She was described as “a diligent student and conscientous nurse who always had a smile on her face to brighten everyone’s day.”
