Jane and Howard Bicker Scholarship through the Bentson Foundation

In September, 2020 , Jane and Howard Bicker Scholarship through the Bentson Foundation was established with the Winona State University Foundation. This scholarship will benefit students of all majors who demonstrate financial need.

Criteria

1. Undergraduate Student
2. Enrolled full time with at least 12 credits per semester
3. Any Declared major
4. Any Class year
5. Financial need based on essay
6. Satisfactory academic performance toward an undergraduate degree

Background and Motivation
The Bentson Foundation was established in 1956 by Larry and Nancy Bentson. The Foundation focuses its giving on a wide array of philanthropic causes across the state of Minnesota including scholarship support for students pursuing college degrees.
