Faculty of Color Caucus Scholarship

The Faculty of Color Caucus Scholarship was established in September 2021 with the Winona State University Foundation. The scholarship will benefit and encourage students of color with financial need in their academic pursuits.

Criteria
Each recipient must:

• be an undergraduate student enrolled full-time and in good standing at Winona State University (minimum of 12 credits per semester, fall and spring);
• self-identify as a Person of Color;
• have financial need as determined by response to related application essay question(s).

Background and Motivation
The Faculty of Color Caucus Scholarship aims to promote and support the inclusive excellence goals of the university by increasing access to higher education for underrepresented minorities seeking a college education.
