Geislinger Family Baseball Scholarship

In September, 2020, the Geislinger Family Baseball Scholarship was established with the Winona State University Foundation. The scholarship will benefit the WSU baseball program.

Criteria
• Must be a member of the WSU Baseball Team
• Undergraduate/graduate
• Full time = 12 credits per semester
• GPA of 3.0 or Better
• Incoming Freshmen ineligible for qualification

Background and Motivation
Andrew Geislinger grew up in Grand Rapids, MN. He was a member of the warrior baseball team from 2012-2016 and graduated from Winona State University in 2016 earning a Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Creighton University in 2020. Stephanie Geislinger grew up in Long Grove, IL. She was a member of the 2009-2013 warrior gymnastics team and graduated from Winona State University in 2013 earning a Bachelor’s degree in Movement Science. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2016 from Northwestern University. Andrew and Stephanie moved back to the Winona community in the Spring of 2020. Andrew is a dentist at River Hills Dental in Winona. Stephanie is the Women’s Assistant Gymnastics coach at Winona State and is a Physical Therapist at Winona Health.

Both Stephanie and Andrew attribute the foundation for their success to the coaches and professors they had while attending Winona State. Andrew greatly appreciated the scholarship he received to play baseball at Winona State. Andrew and Stephanie are more than happy to be in a position to give back and help support WSU athletics through this scholarship.
