James R. & Nancy M. Reynolds Sociology Scholarship

The James & Nancy Reynolds Scholarship is created to support students at WSU. Recipients must be a declared major in B.A. Sociology (first preference) or B.S. Sociology: Criminal Justice (second preference).

Criteria

1. Each recipient must be an undergraduate student enrolled full-time (i.e. minimum of twelve credits per semester) at Winona State University.
2. Each recipient must be classified as a Junior at the time the award will be made.
3. Each recipient must be a declared major in B.A. Sociology (first preference for the scholarship award) or B.S. Sociology: Criminal Justice (second preference for the scholarship award) and be admitted into the program based on written program admission standards, if available.
4. The recipient must be in good standing at Winona State University and possess a minimum grade point average (G.P.A.) of 3.0 (A=4.0) in B.A. Sociology or B.S. Sociology: Criminal Justice course work and a minimum of 2.5 G.P.A. overall.
5. The recipient must demonstrate a financial need.
