Lucas Calvert Memorial Scholarship

The Lucas J. Calvert Memorial Scholarship is created to encourage and support students pursuing a degree in the biological sciences while providing a lasting tribute to Lucas J. Calvert, a WSU student who passed away in his final semester of studies at WSU. This scholarship serves to honor and celebrate the life of Lucas J. Calvert, a classmate and friend. Lucas possessed a joy for life that was contagious and was an inspiration to those around him. Students who will be graduating at the end of the fall semester may be considered.

Criteria

1. Each recipient must be an undergraduate student enrolled full-time at Winona State University. Students graduating at the end of fall semester may be considered.
2. Each recipient must be a biology major active in Tri Beta and/or the Biology Club.
3. Each recipient must be classified as a junior or senior and be in good standing at Winona State University with an overall grade point average (g.p.a.) of 3.75 on a 4.0 scale.
