Dana Bluhm Reupert Scholarship

The Dana Bluhm Reupert Scholarship is created to encourage and reward students who have declared a major in Elementary Education at WSU and who demonstrates excellence and potential in the field of education.

Criteria

1. Each recipient must be a declared major in Elementary Education.
2. Each recipient must be enrolled full-time at WSU and classified as a Junior in good standing with an overall minimum grade point average (g.p.a.) of 3.0 and a Program g.p.a. of 3.0.
3. Each recipient will demonstrate financial need as demonstrated by their FAFSA report.

Biography/Motivation

Dana Bluhm Reupert, a Winona State University graduate, lives in Riverside, California. She and her husband, Roger, have two grown sons and two grandchildren. Dana has served as a teacher, principal, and coordinator of gifted and talented education programs. She is currently the President of California Association for the Gifted, teaches at the University of California, Riverside in the Graduate School of Education and is an instructor in the Gifted and Talented Education Certificate Program. Dana makes presentations on gifted education at the state, national, and international levels. She is a strong advocate for promoting quality teachers at all levels, but especially in elementary education.
