Marvin & Muriel Palecek Scholarship

The Marvin and Muriel Palecek Scholarship is created for students who have declared a major in History or Legal Studeis. The recipient of the Raymond N. Thielen Memorial Scholarship will not be eligible for this scholarship. The award will be made strictly on the basis of scholarship — the applicant with the highest overall GPA. Applicants should have a minimum GPA of 3.3.

Criteria

1. Candidates must be declared History or Legal Studies majors.
2. Recipients should be full-time seniors (12 or more credits) year if the disbursement.
3. The award will be made strictly on the basis of scholarship — the applicant with the highest overall grade point average. Applicants should have a minimum G.P.A. of 3.3 (A = 4.0). If no applicant qualifies, the award will be added to the corpus for reinvestment.
4. The recipient of the Raymond N. Thielen Memorial Scholarship will not be eligible for this award.
