Hal Leonard Corporation Scholarship in Honor of Harold Edstrom, Ev Edstrom, Roger Busdicker and their Families Scholarship
The Hal Leonard Corporation Scholarship in Honor of Harold Edstrom, Ev Edstrom, Roger Busdicker and their Families is created for students who intend to declare a major in WSU’s Music Program with an emphasis on instrumental music.
Criteria
Renewable Awards
1. Each recipient for the award must be an entering freshman student who will be enrolled full-time (minimum 12 credit hours) at Winona State University.
2. Each recipient must be in the top 20% of their high school graduating class with a minimum ACT of 21 or have an ACT composite of 24 and are in the top half of their class.
3. Each recipient must indicate an intent to declare a major in Winona State University’s Music Program with an emphasis on instrumental music.
Annual Awards
1. Each recipient for the award must be an undergraduate student enrolled full-time (minimum 12 credit hours) at Winona State University.
2. Each recipient for the award must be classified as a freshman, sophomore or junior and be in good standing at Winona State University. Freshmen must be in the top 20% of their high school graduating class with a minimum ACT of 21 or have an ACT composite of 24 and are in the top half of their class. Sophomores and juniors must have a minimum grade point average (g.p.a.) of 3.0 (4.0 – A) at Winona State University.
3. Each freshman recipient must indicate an intent to declare a major in Winona State University’s Music Program with an emphasis on instrumental music. Each sophomore or junior recipient must have declared a major in WSU’s Music Program with an emphasis on instrumental music.
