At Winona State, Jeff was a member of the Warrior Football team and continued his passion in the weight room. Following his undergraduate programming, he received his master’s degree from UW-Lacrosse in the area of Human Performance. His professional career went through The University of Memphis and Iowa State University before coming back to his Alma Mater to run the Winona State University Fitness Center. He has been in this position since the university opened the facility in the fall of 2000 and assisted with the wisdom and development of the Integrated Wellness Complex completed in 2010. Jeff has been a constant leader in the areas of Strength & Conditioning, and Fitness and his guidance and mentorship have helped many students to find their paths in these respective fields. Today many are at the top of their field, including several at the collegiate and professional sports team levels. This scholarship will help the next generation of Strength & Conditioning professionals coming though his program. Jeff has a passion to assist students from all walks of life who have a desire to enter the field of Strength & Conditioning to unlock financial barriers for their education.
