Nicole Zanoni/Delta Epsilon Alpha Tau Scholarship
The Nicole Zanoni/Delta Epsilon Alpha Tau Scholarship is created to encourage and support sisters of the Delta Phi Epsilon-Alpha Tau Sorority; or an Alumnae seeking postgraduate work. At the end of each year, the recipient shall submit their grades to the President of Delta Phi Epsilon and a brief written update describing how their year progressed and their involvement with Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority.
Criteria
1. Each recipient must be a member of Delta Phi Epsilon-Alpha Tau Sorority or an Alumni seeking postgraduate work.
2. Each recipient must submit a one-page essay describing her involvement with Delta Phi Epsilon-Alpha Tau Sorority.
Biography/Motivation
The Nicole Zanoni/Delta Phi Epsilon Alpha Tau Chapter Scholarship was established to honor the life and memory of Nicole Zanoni. Nicole exemplified the high academic and moral standards put forth by the Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority, Nicole was a model member of Delta Phi Epsilon, she achieved scholastic excellence, demonstrated kindness and compassion to all who knew her and was involved in community service, dedicated to her fellow Delta Phi Epsilon sisters.
Nicole was born in Madison, WI., March 5, 1980. She attended Middleton High School and graduated in 1998. Nicole received a Posthumous Degree from Winona State University in Business Management. Nicole enjoyed playing soccer and volleyball. She had a special interest in pets, bridges, traveling and Angels. Nicole was the third child born in a family of six. She was strong, intelligent, independent, self-motivated, and compassionate, Nicole loved her family and life itself, she served as an inspiration to all who met her. Her life reflected all of the beauty she contained. Nicole Lynn Zanoni, age 21, died in a car accident.
